These two rock musicians and songwriters will be going on tour together this summer!

Matt Nathanson is a 43 year-old rock-folk singer-songwriter from Lexington, Massachusetts (close to where I am from) and then moved to San Fransico, California. Nathanson released his first album in July 1993, Please with thirteen-songs on it. My favorite album of Nathanson’s is, Some Mad Hope (2007),” and I highly advise listening to it. Most people know his track, “Come on Get Higher” that was released in 2007.

25 year-old singer-songwriter Phillip Phillips is from Albany, Georgia. Phillips won American Idol (season eleven) and is known for his song “Home”, where he sold over four-million copies just in the United States. His first album, The World From the Side of the Moon” was released in 2012. Phillips album was No. 4 on the Billboard 200 and had successful sold 169,000 copies. In 2013, he was first invited to go on tour with Matchbox Twenty. The same year, Phillips was also invited to be the opening act for John Mayer.

I have seen both artists live in concert and they are extremely talented performers  and sound exactly like they do on their records. Phillip’s played the hell out of his guitar and Nathanson was extremely funny when he introduced some of his songs. and you could truly see how dedicated and thankful he is for his fans.

Keep on rockin’ guys! I wish you all the best in the future and hope to see you again!
