Let’s throw it back to the 70s!

This is my first throw-back Thursday (TBT) post and I thought I should dedicate it to one of the most famous and loved rock bands, the Rolling Stones. For the past month I’ve been listening to “Beast of Burden” and I still haven’t gotten sick of it.

The Rolling Stones is an English rock band that formed in the 1960s. Mick Jagger is the lead singer, Keith Richards and Ronnie Wood play guitar, and Charlie Watts plays the drums. The Rolling Stones past members include: Brian Jones, Bill Wyman, Mick Taylor, and Ian Stewart. They played their first show on July 12, 1962 at the Marquee Club in London. The boys have 29 studio albums, 13 live albums, 24 compilation albums, 20 video albums, 57 music videos, 3 EP’s, and 109 singles. Their first album was: The Rolling Stones (UK) England’s Newest Hit Makers that was released on April 16, 1964. It immediately became #1 in the UK on the charts and #11 in the United States.

The band has been together for 50 years and are still going strong. They have one more concert in Habana, Cuba on March 25th, which is free!
