When did your heart go missing?

During the car ride back to Endicott, I decided to listen to a band who I used to listened in high school. The indie-rock band I listened to was, Rooney, and I blasted my favorite song by them, “When Did Your Heart Go Missing?”

Rooney formedthe band in 1999 in Los Angeles, California. In the beginning of their career they performed their self produced EPs for a few years at Sunset Strip clubs in California. The band members are: Robert Schwartzman (I’m sure most of you recognize him from, The Princess Diaries), Taylor Locke, Ned Brower, Louie Stephens, and Brandon Schwartz. They eventually made their major label and started traveling the nation and opening for bands such as: Weezer, The Strokes, Sloan, The Donnas, Travis, and Keane.

The bands first EP, Rooney, was released in 2003, and then released their second album, Calling the World, in 2007 and their most recent album in, Eureka, in 2010. However, their new album will be released on April, 5th! The band has done very well for themselves and I am very excited to cover their concert on May 18th at The Middle East in Cambridge, MA! Take a listen to their music for me!

Have a good weekend!
